Water Equipment Show 2023- Covid Policy

Welcome to the Water Equipment Show 2023 (WES2023).

The safety of all the personnel who attend the show is our highest priority and we are working with the Telford International Centre (TIC) to create a safe environment and to ensure that we comply with the appropriate guidance on managing the risks of Covid-19.

Please be aware that guidance can alter rapidly due to the changing characteristics and prevalence of the virus and therefore the appropriate safety measures applied at the show may have to be amended. The Pump Centre will use the most appropriate measures and guidance that are applicable at the time of the show.

It is important to remember that individuals attending the show will have differing attitudes to the risk of Covid infection, based on their own personal circumstances. The WES2023 will try to accommodate these individual attitudes and we ask all attendees to respect the choices taken by others.

WES2023 Covid safety measures – (as of April 2023)

The UK is now learning to live with Covid and taking sensible measures to ensure that we keep ourselves and each other safe.

The measures we are putting in place at the show are not compulsory but are recommendations that we ask all attendees to adhere to, where possible, for the benefit of the whole Water Equipment Show community.

1. Face masks

Whilst face masks are no longer mandatory, we encourage all attendees to take personal responsibility and to wear a face mask in situations where they feel it is appropriate to do so. If you are considering using a face mask, please bring one with you. A small supply of complimentary face masks will be available in the reception area for those who forget.

2. Social distancing

As a courtesy, we ask all attendees to respect the personal space of others by maintaining their distance whenever possible.

3. Hand gel

Hand gel will be made available at various places throughout the exhibition to allow all attendees to regularly sanitise their hands.

4. Covid symptoms

As a courtesy to others, please avoid coming to the Show if you are unwell and exhibiting symptoms associated with Covid, or if you are currently testing positive for Covid.

Please stay safe and healthy - we look forward to seeing you at WES2023!

Best regards
